By the time I finished school it was clear that I was never going to pursue anything other than music and I started studying at The Royal Welsh College Of Music & Drama in 2012. My years in Cardiff are still some of my most treasured years. I learnt so much and grew as both a singer and a musician. I found friends for life in other musicians and my confidence as a performer soared! During my time studying I also started working with management and an independent record label and I released two EPs of original material in between lectures, and recitals. I was learning how to be a songwriter too and it gave me even more of a reason to sing as much as I could (if I needed more). 

 

Performing and writing is my passion but I loved studying teaching while at college and thoroughly enjoyed working with the local schools in the area especially leading and planning workshops and classes. 

 

When I graduated in 2016 I made the move to London to start working towards my first album. This is also when I started working at The Rhythm Studio - where I still work part time teaching songwriting, vocals and piano. The Rhythm Studio (Academy Of Music) teaches a range of students - over the years I have taught both young children, aspiring artists as well as adults wishing to return to music, refine their natural ability or just pick it up as a fun hobby. I’m all about making lessons work for you. 

 

I released 4 EPs on Never Fade Records from 2014 - 2018, building a loyal fan base, playing headline shows in the UK as well as supporting artists like Gabrielle Aplin, Hozier, Seal, Barbara Streisand, Jess Glynne and Train on tour. I also released a version of Praise You in 2017 that has since been used on multiple TV adverts including the Lloyds Bank advert, the Christmas Lancome advert featuring Julia Roberts and various other commercials in the US and South Africa gaining me International recognition and selling 60,000 copies worldwide. 

I went on to release my debut album ‘Remedy’ in 2020, and gained huge support from BBC Radio Two, with singles, Praise You, With You, Blue, & How True is Your Love all making the playlist, I have also performed live sessions with Dermot O’leary numerous times as well as Michael Ball, and appeared on Zoe Ball & Sara Coxes morning TV Shows. My own music has since reached over 50 million streams worldwide.

I now spend my time writing, recording, performing & teaching. Teaching is something I have always continued to do throughout my changeable and unpredictable career and it's incredibly rewarding. My goal is to help each student realise the power in the voice they already have. I enjoy working on confidence, fulfilment and performing as well as working on technical ability, pushing outside your comfort zone and challenging musical ability from vocals to songwriting. Each student is unique and each lesson has different and specific goals. 

 

Drawing upon my years of experience in the music industry as both an artist and songwriter I feel passionate about mentoring aspiring artists to help them navigate an industry that can sometimes be hugely overwhelming and daunting. However you want to progress as a vocalist, artist or songwriter we can figure out together the goals you'd like to achieve and how we can achieve them.
